Santo André, SP, 1968
Sandra Cinto's delicate large drawings are always followed by sculptural elements to create immersive environments. The oneiric landscapes of the artist are often drawn on the wall and complemented by pictures adorned by fine silver drawings, done with a ballpoint pen.
The artist frequently makes use of photographs, which are associated with other objects, such as wooden sculptures that simulate books or beds. These supports are meeting points of many narratives, never concluded, that exist between dream and reality.
